I'm somewhen between
the veil and the day
the color of singing,
the cool sound of blue ~
Somewhere I lean
against breath of the sky
and touch the horizon
that curls into you ~
Sometime I gather
the scent of my dreaming
and fold up the night
in pockets of sand ~
Then sweep up the notions
that rain from the darkness,
tumbling like fire
to the palm of my hand ~
a gentle song M, deceptive in the whisper that undercuts the passion...it colours the ear beautifully

ReplyDeleteparticularly like the way you interlock stanza in pairs by rhyming the last lines of each. Fine work here, yes ma'am

have a great Xmas and New Year! Aye
Thank you Luke- the interlocking /pairs thing just happens- I think in rhyme and beats, I guess. So glad you liked!
ReplyDeleteThere is a very smoothe and sentimental tone to this piece; that feels and tastes like dusk. RS
